Co Founder, Amber Hornsby. Amber has a degree in Social Work and she has been serving for 10+ years both stateside and internationally in human resources and service projects. Prior to ESTHER Homes she worked for a youth mission’s camp organization developing skill sets both administrative and working directly with different demographics that have played a role in developing her for the role she now fills. Amber’s role within ESTHER Homes is business administrator: taking care of paperwork, working on partnerships and finances. She works directly with the mother’s mapping out and researching different resource options that best meet their direct needs. She believes that simplicity equals change: to stand next to the mother in the journey, creating a safe space offering a season that simplifies life and focuses on who she is as an individual with great value as she enters into motherhood, will bring about change. Amber is passionate about children and sees generations changing as mother’s recognize and stand up in their worth and truth and release this freedom to their children to grow up knowing!
Co Founder, Rachel Hanus, Rachel has her bachelor’s degree in nursing and a master’s degree in Midwifery. She has been directly working with women, serving on medical mission teams and involved in community focused service projects both stateside and internationally for 7+ years. Prior to ESTHER Homes she was a part of an organization that trained and equipped students to live out the love and Kingdom of God in their communities. This experience has carried over and is used daily as her role within ESTHER Homes as life-coach and educator. She works directly with the mother’s educating them in prenatal health as well as postpartum, sits with them as they share their stories and helps them to see the gold they have inside of them. Rachel’s basically their biggest cheerleader. She believes that mothers carry the keys to change as they are the ones who are raising future leaders of nations. She is passionate about walking with women through their transition into motherhood, standing next to them in the vulnerable season, encouraging them in who they are and calling out the beauty and strength inside of them. Rachel desires to equip mothers with truth that defines their worth and brings about complete healing and restoration in this journey!

Her path toward loving the women and children of ESTHER Homes began with saying yes to God’s invitation to help women and children out of poverty, through an organization called, Trades of Hope, empowering women globally. This opened her heart to see the individual He placed directly in front of her. She shares the belief that we are called to walk along side of each mother on her journey; encouraging her to be the best version of herself by providing opportunities for growth.
